E-Trucks Ei16 – Ei20 P (four-wheeled forklift truck)

The operator’s cab of the Ei16 – Ei20 P is designed for effortless and productive work. This is all down to the innovative truck concept with integrated lithium-ion battery. As there is no need for a battery tray, there is a unique amount of space compared to trucks from other manufacturers, with significantly more headroom and legroom. The entrance to the cab is also lower and wider, which increases comfort and safety. With the Ei16 – Ei20 P, the mast and axles are decoupled from the chassis by elastomer ring bearings. This improves shock absorption and protects the operator from harmful human vibrations when driving over bumps. The tried-and-tested combination of dual-pedal control and Linde Load Control ensures precise and intuitive control. The innovative Linde Steer Control operating concept is available as an option, with a joystick or mini-wheel in the armrest replacing the conventional steering wheel. An easy-to-read 3.5-inch display, a large selection of comfort seats and optional air conditioning create the perfect working environment.

The strength of the Ei16 – Ei20 P lies in the combination of high operating stability and manoeuvrability. This is made possible by the innovative Linde combi-steering axle, which combines a stable four-wheeled design with the steering movement range of a three-wheeled truck. The proven 48-volt drive with maintenance-free asynchronous motors, which enables speeds of up to 20 km/h, provides the necessary thrust. The truck’s energy management is designed for maximum simplicity. The straightforward charging of the permanently installed Li-ION battery eliminates the need for battery changes and does not require any special charging infrastructure. To further increase flexibility, the truck can be equipped with an optional onboard charger that enables fast opportunity charging at any socket. The modern system architecture of the Ei16 – Ei20 P means that they are also ready for integrating into digital processes such as fleet management systems.

The Ei16 – Ei20 P are designed for maximum availability and minimal service costs. Key components such as the encapsulated drive unit with integrated electric motors are completely maintenance-free and reliably protected from dust and water. The long service intervals also contribute to high cost-effectiveness: a complete inspection is only required after 1,000 operating hours and a hydraulic oil change only after 6,000 hours. All relevant components are easily accessible for servicing, which reduces repair times. Truck availability can be further increased through the optional connectivity functions, enabling remote diagnostics and predictive maintenance planning.
